It is a common belief that proper nutrition is the basis for optimum health and well being. A complete nutrition is indispensable for proper functioning of our bodies.
Holistic Nutrition is a wider concept and focuses on treating a person’s well-being by taking into consideration all aspects of life. This approach does not consider a one size fits all methodology. Holistic Nutrition evaluates the complete health history, emotional state, lifestyle habits, and current diet habits of an individual to determine the root cause of one’s health issues. Our bodies have a tremendous ability to heal which sounds amazing! Holistic Nutrition gives the body the food and the energy it needs to attain and maintain optimum health. In a nutshell, holistic nutrition is the use of everyday nutrition and eating habits to improve one’s health.
It’s basically a healing with whole foods, but what are whole foods? This I would discuss in my next segment, but lets make you familiar with this whole new approach.
Why Holistic Nutrition?
Every individual is unique and must be treated likewise. We have different blood groups and bodies and accordingly we choose our diet plans. Once we start following a plan we should keep a proper check on it and observe how our bodies respond. We literally are what we eat, digest, and assimilate. I personally believe that we need to have a proper metabolism to keep up with our chores, this could only be possible if we could take out time for ourselves from our busy routines. We could start with taking small steps towards this approach by inculcating some new habits to our mundane lifestyle.
